Admissions

Welcome to Holy Trinity Lutheran School! My name is Sarah Ricciardi, Admissions Counselor. Let me give you a quick mental "tour". "they will mount up with wings like eagles..." is the greeting our gymnasium gives you here at HTLS. The soaring eagle banner has been there for years, a statement often seen on bookmarks and greeting cards--something we can too easily gloss over. Listen to the words of the entire verse: "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Wow! As a parent, isn't that what we deeply desire for our children?! We know that life brings turmoil, pain, and despair. We know that a person cannot escape hurt while living on this earth. My dad used to put it this way, "Life isn't fair." That's true, isn't it? (But oh how I hated it when he reminded me!) So what do we do as parents, as care-givers, as loved ones raising up children in a world that offers pain? Isaiah 40:31! "Those who hope in the LORD WILL renew their strength..." WILL renew, not might, not maybe, but the definitive WILL. "They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." What an amazing, astounding reminder! And what solid rock truth to pass on and pour into and over our children! That is why I am excited when I tour prospective parents, visit with our students and their families, and chat with the faculty and staff. God is at the root of everything we do here at HTLS. Because He is, we can offer hope and education that goes far beyond text books and grade scores. It goes to the heart.

I'd love to share more about HTLS with you! Click on the "request more info" link and I'll gladly arrange your personal tour.
